A big success  for the Youth:

Over 600 participants from 42 countries took part at the annual EUROPARC Conference in Cairngorms National Park Scotland this September. The Conference was hosted under the title „European Parks: Inspired by the next generation“ and it was focused on youth involvement in Protected areas.

The main contents were the youth delegates and the presentation of the youth manifesto and a wide variety of topics covered during the workshop lessons.

It was nice to see how enthusiastic the young people presented themselves during the conference. The presentation of the Youth Manifesto was a complete success and now it is up to the protected areas in Europe to work on it and give the young adults a future. The teenagers were still supported by the keynote speakers such as and Hendrikus van Hensbergen, founder of Action For Conservation and the bestelling author of Last Child in the Woods Richard Louv.

The Cairngorms National Park was a perfect host and the nature / scenery of the Scottish Highlands did the rest.
