After training is before training. Just returned from all trainings and meetings of March, April set the course for more events: our online training on Digital Tools for Rangers in June, our K9 training in Catalonia in September and a second edition of the training on large carnivores, biodiversity and local communities in the summer – exact date to follow.
We are also launching the first ERF Volunteer Photo Competition, with the winners to be announced on International Volunteer Day on 5 December! Also in the newsletter: a guest article by a policy expert on the role of rangers in our global conservation goals, an interview with the Thin Green Line Foundation UK and our interview on digital tools for conservation. In addition, we look for an exchange of experiences with rangers and protected areas working with volunteers, look at the ranger work of our newest member Malta and the first cross-border meeting of the Swiss and German rangers.
