This peak season month for rangers has shown just how much we need everyone on board for practical conservation. Just as with the ranger workforce itself: we have therefore joined World Female Ranger Week to show how indispensable female rangers, their competencies and skills are to our global conservation goals.
Just as international exchange between rangers is essential: we have prepared the final details for the European Ranger Congress on site and intensified our fundraising initiative to enable as many rangers as possible to take part in Romania this October. And we are preparing for World Ranger Day on 31 July: Join us and send us your ranger photo on this year’s theme ‘Rangers, Powering Transformative Conservation’!
